Team Leader - Community Support Services (Walsall)

Location: Walsall WS1 1TJ

Pay : £12.21 Per Hour

Hours: 40 Hours a week / Monday – Sunday Alternate Weekends)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader to join our community service team. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support, ensuring the well-being and development of our service users.

What you’ll be Doing

  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for service users.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care and support services.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment for service users and staff.

  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions.

 

What You’ll Need 

  • At least 2-3 + years’ experience as a Team Leader within the Care Sector

  • Must be able to drive

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Knowledge of best practices in care for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and complex needs,

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Minimum of NVQ3 in Health and Social Care

  • Must be fully flexible
