Hours: 40 Hours a week / Monday – Sunday Alternate Weekends)

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Bed Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bed allocations and ensuring the efficient use of resources to meet the needs of our service users.
What You’ll be Doing
Oversee bed management and allocation to ensure optimal use of resources.
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers of service users.
Maintain accurate records of bed occupancy and availability.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
Monitor and report on bed usage trends and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Provide support and guidance to staff on bed management processes.
What You'll Need
Minimum of 4-5 + years’ experience within the healthcare or community support sector
Must be able to drive
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Knowledge of best practices in care for individuals with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 or above
